The Camping de l’Ill is ideally located around the main sports facilities of the city: outdoor swimming pool, indoor Illberg swimming pool, minigolf, skating rink, Ill arena (where many activities are hosted in the summertime) and even a skatepark.
The Camping de l’Ill is very close to the city centre of Mulhouse, its very nice parks, its rich Alsatian gastronomy and its exceptional historical and industrial heritage. You shouldn’t leave the area without at least visiting the prestigious Automobile museum and its 400 vintage cars or the Railway museum, the largest in all of Europe. Families will also enjoy visiting the Zoological and botanical garden, the Ecomusée d’Alsace or the Parc du Petit Prince!
All those activities can be enjoyed with family or friends. The city of Mulhouse is part of the seven cities labeled “Famille plus”, a national label that recognizes a specific welcome for families in tourist cities, with activities and animations adapted to all ages and with specific rates.
One of the longest cycle routes in the world - the EuroVelo 6 - goes by the Camping de l’Ill. This route connects the town of Saint-Brevin-Les-Pins in Loire Atlantique (Western France) to the Romanian city of Constanta via Mulhouse, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia and Bulgaria.
The EuroVelo 6 goes right by the Camping de l’Ill. So, if you bike along this route and in Mulhouse, don’t hesitate to stop by and spend the night!
